Underground Civilization

I'm gonna try being synthetic, cause when you talk about good artworks it needs a lot of words ^^, and i think this is a good artwork.

Well, first of all i really like the ambient light, but i think you lack of one or two more value levels, here it feels there is the foreground and the background, i mean the two dark parts at the left and right, and then the city in the background.

It could have been interesting to take the ship on the left and make it overlap the city + using a darker value.

After that, even if i'm not a real specialist in perspective, i really feel people in this city have good shoes, cause your city seems to be very inclined, and maybe will fall in the water...

I mean, i assume the horizon is the line created by the water, and if i think this way, it's impossible at this angle that we could see the city from the top, do you understand?

After that i could be a bit maniac about the fact that (even if it's a sketch) at the right top corner something feel not so finished (ok it's a sketch, but i said i was maniac on this part ^^)

So in my opinion, with some tiny modifications it could be a real great piece of art, but perspective (geometry AND atmosphere) make this picture seem a bit "unstable"
